Entr'acte!

Holy Motors is a pretty special film. Leos Carax is a pretty special filmmaker. Denis Lavant is a pretty special performer.

There are so many individual moments in Holy Motors that on their own each would be a towering achievement - combined, it's like a marathon of dazzlingly mismatched narrative imagery (that somehow all ties rapturously together).

But the first thing that really jumps to mind for me right now when I think about the film is the accordion entr'acte.

For an extra joy-bump, check out the fellow on the left of Lavant, just rocking out so hard.
