Perspective.

Following something as energetically and politically divisive as the Oscars, it's easy to lose perspective on why we do the work in the first place.

When it becomes about striving to beat someone else at an accolade (including best-dressed), we can miss out on an investigation of ourselves; what we mean - in heart, body, time, history, pain, longing, sacrifice, desire - in relation to the stories that we are telling.
