On talking about the work.

I love it when you tell me about your work. I love it when you detail the guts and glory. I love it when you share how hard it is, how complicated it is. How badly you lose faith. I love when you share your misgivings as well as your wins. I particularly love it when you plumb those philosophical depths that you think are too dark or weird or hard for someone else to understand. That make you feel like an outcast. That make you feel that you're all alone. I want you to tell me your hypotheses, your learning. Your forgetting and your re-learning.
