Marion has made her editorial career in bold, provocative fashion styling. But as her work is pushed into increasingly brutal depictions of violence against women, Marion is given a front-row seat to the terrifying and destructive implications of the images she creates.

She is targeted by a persistent stalker; on the eve of fashion week, the star model of her latest shoot disappears; and a young woman turns up dead in a scene mysteriously evocative of Marion’s latest work. The control Marion thought she had over her meticulously constructed life begins to slip through her fingers, as what is real, what is fantasy, and what is fashion collide, becoming horrifyingly indistinct.

Created by director/writer/actor Ming-Zhu Hii, THE FASHION DIRECTOR is a chilling, sublime and fiercely erotic plunge into the dark recesses of the fashion world and the power it wields over women.
